The Ancient Village, a popular outdoor museum, will be rebuilt and open next summer at the Cherokee Heritage Center in Tahlequah, Okla. The village, first constructed in 1967, depicts Cherokee life before European settlement, featuring demonstrations of various crafts, from cooking and gardening to arrowhead, pottery and basket making. Groups can arrange a stickball game or blowgun shoot.
