On Feb. 20, the new Tribal Chief for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe spoke to the Tribal membership at his first State of the Tribe Address. Dennis V. Kequom wanted to assure those who elected him that he and Tribal Council have been looking in to areas of development and expansion, and they want to have more "openness and communication in the day-to-day efforts of the Tribal Council."
