New Castle gaming firm loses $18 million judgment

A Chippewa Indian tribal court in Minnesota has leveled an $18 million judgment against Gaming World International of New Castle and its owner, Angelo Medure, over the development of the tribe's Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen, Minn. The ruling, handed down in November and announced this week, ends a 14-year legal battle, although Mr. Medure's lawyers are expected to appeal.
