The National Congress of American Indians’ plate is full this week with a variety of weighty topics. NCAI members reviewed the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, which has not been signed by the United States. They held an open meeting and invited tribal members to give their input on whether they thought the declaration needed to be pushed in the U.S.
