Garan Coons was born on the Winnebago Indian Reservation in Nebraska and last Friday spoke to some psychology and geography students at Buffalo High School. Coons performs with the show Brule at the RFD-TV theater in Branson and was recruited to come to Buffalo by teacher Roger Turner, who has seen the stage show several times. Turner himself is part Cherokee and has had an interest in his heritage, and the show Brule, for quite a while.
