Micah True, also known as Caballo Blanco, was a man who inspired many, a fact that was made evident when hundreds of people searched for him when he went missing in the Gila Wilderness in late March. His body was eventually found, and the cause of his death was later announced—a surprise for many, heart disease, for a man who was in such good shape.

True was out on a "routine" (for him) 12-mile run. When he went missing, the New York Times reports, some 150 trained volunteers, and dozens of un-trained but no less eager people, came from all over the world to try to find him.
