Kathan (Kit) Musgrove was appointed director of convention services at Paragon Casino Resort.
Musgrove was the former president, and board member for the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI), Gulf South chapter. He was director of sales for SB Yen Management in Chicago (The White Hall Hotel and Best Western University Plaza) before his appointment. “I’m excited to be at Paragon,” Musgrove said in a news release. “And I know I can make a difference.”

Paragon Casino Resort also named James A. Shields its executive chef.
Shields is a former leader of the culinary team at the Culinary Institute of America, and bring more than 20 years of experience in the culinary field. “We have many wonderful plans for the dining options at the resort, and I’m looking forward to sharing my passion for the culinary industry with our guests,” Shields said in a news release announcing his new position.
Shields is also a certified ice sculptor.
Native American Natural Foods, maker of Tanka buffalo meat snacks, has named its first national sales manager.
James Williams comes to Native American Natural Foods with more than 25 years of natural foods experience at Nutiva, Wildwood Natural Foods and Kettle Foods, among other natural companies.

Norm Adams has been named CEO of the Bois Forte Development Corporation. He will also remain the general manager at Fortune Bay Resort Casino.
“I am looking forward to this new challenge,” said Adams, according to a press release. “I have a strong team working at Fortune Bay as well as the Bois Forte Development Corporation, so I am confident this will be an easy transition for me and our team.”
Adams began his career at Fortune Bay in 1995 as a human resources manager. He has been general manager at Fortune Bay since 2009.
