The Samish Indian Nation and the Puget Sound Energy foundation announced today they will donate thousands of dollars toward the rebuilding an old railroad trestle on the Tommy Thompson Trail in Anacortes that was badly burned Oct. 15. The Samish are giving $30,000 toward rebuilding, and the PSE foundation is donating $20,000, officials said.
