Grand Casino Hinckley's The Winds Steakhouse head chef Michael Engle and his team recently were honored with the People's Choice Award for the meal they served at a March of Dimes charity event. They competed against seven other star chefs from area restaurants, and prepared spinach artichoke gratin (fresh spinach, artichokes and roasted red peppers with four cheeses) served on roasted garlic crostini and seared beef made with pork reduction and roasted garlic with mashed potatoes.
