Meskwaki school unveils new wing for high school

The Meskwaki Settlement School in Tama will unveil a new 108,000-square-foot high school wing today in response to rapid growth and overcrowding. The settlement school started adding high school age students in 2003, beginning with only freshmen. Now the new wing, called Meskwaki High School, is home to 110 to 115 seventh- through-12th-grade students. School started Wednesday.
