President Obama seems to mean business about helping Indian tribes, Dennis Ramirez, chairman of the Mechoopda Tribe, said Wednesday. He was among Indian leaders from around the country who attended a conference Obama held last week in Washington, D.C. The purpose of the conference was to talk about improving the federal government's relationship with tribes, Obama said.
