CURRENTLY, a judge in Hackensack is dividing among 120 Upper Ringwood children $3 million dollars from the Ford Motor Company. The payments are being made to settle 30 years of grievances the Ramapough Mountain Indians have had against Ford for dumping more than 50,000 tons of auto manufacturing waste on the fields and in the abandoned mines of their territory in northern Passaic County.
