The Oglala Lakota Tribe and its allies, including Deep Green Resistance, are planning a march Saturday, June 9 at noon in Pine Ridge, South Dakota in a protest and to demand justice for an end to predatory liquor sales in Whiteclay, Nebraska.

Whiteclay has a population of 14 and lies less than 300 feet from the Pine Ridge Reservation border, where sale and consumption of alcohol is prohibited. Earlier this year, the tribe filed a lawsuit against the three main beer manufacturers, distributors and stores in Whiteclay.

Allies will be coming to participate and march in solidarity from all over the country, and Deep Green Resistance has organized caravans of supporters from Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, California, and Colorado.
