Lobbyist Mark Greene, who represents the Oklahoma-based Cherokee Nation, contends he was threatened at a contentious Saturday meeting of the Tennessee Commission on Indian Affairs. In a letter to Jim Fyke, commissioner of the Department of Environment and Conservation, Greene quotes Commissioner Jimmy Thigpen as saying, "If this were a war party, you'd be shot."
