PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - Universal Columbia Entertainment LLC, parent company of ''Live with Steve Spitz,'' announces 24 appearances and tapings live from the Morongo Casino in Palm Springs.
Spitz, host of ''Live with Steve Spitz,'' ''Intoxicating Cuisine with Steve Spitz'' and ''Living Better with Steve Spitz,'' along with the casino and Gene Pietragallo Jr., CEO of Tourism TV, will begin production, live from the Morongo Casino, April 16 - 18 and April 21 - 23.
Spitz, now in the fourth year of his nationally syndicated television show ''Live with Steve Spitz,'' is going live at Morongo Casino. To date, ''Live with Steve Spitz'' has been shot on location throughout the U.S. from New York to Los Angeles. Beginning April 16, he will host four shows daily that will be filled with celebrities, musicians, artists, authors and television personalities. Spitz will charge up the live audience with his endless energy and off-the-wall humor as he merges his successful format from his lifestyle magazine show with that of a variety show. Along with a live band, the new set will feature a sofa set, a kitchen set and a potting shed.
Although he is widely known for his impeccable cooking and wine pairing skills, Spitz's television shows are built around his wide range of talents. For more then 15 years, Spitz has worked as an award-winning home designer, creating interiors and gardens from traditional European to edgy contemporary.
His kitchen notoriety landed him as host for the National Beer Wholesalers Association's inaugural ''Cooking with Beer'' cook-off held at the Institute of Culinary Arts in New York City last year. Spitz's food and wine expertise shines each year as he prepares incredible tapas that he pairs with fine wines while hosting the Telluride AIDS Benefit.
