Police on the Lac du Flambeau Indian reservation discovered a massive growing operation of hallucinogenic mushrooms, according to WHBL Sheboygan's News Radio. One large mushroom operation caused an officer breathing difficulties, and he had to go outside, according to Tribal Police Chief Robert Brandenburg. A state Justice Department team will dismantle the operation, said Brandenburg.
Search warrants were provided by tribal police, sheriff’s deputies, and state Justice agents on four Lac du Flambeau homes on Jan. 12, which lead to the arrest of five people. Marijuana and some firearms were also seized, officials said.
