A federal judge has prevented Joan and Marvin Wilbur from recovering 3.6 million cigarettes and $127,107 seized two years ago in a federal raid of the Swinomish couple’s business, the Trading Post at March Point. The case stems from search warrants served May 15, 2007, on the business. The couple is accused of selling untaxed cigarettes. Warrants were served that day on two other smoke shops on tribal lands, including one in Arlington.
