Fall River is gambling on gambling and the taxpayers will suffer if the city loses, Lesley Rich told a judge Tuesday. So Rich, a lawyer for a group of 10 taxpayers, asked Superior Court Judge Richard Moses for a temporary injunction to stop the city from selling 300 acres of land to the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe for a resort casino.
