Description: The Native American Rights Fund is a nonprofit law firm representing Indian tribes, organizations and individuals in Indian law cases of major significance. NARF has offices in Boulder, Colorado, Washington, D.C., and Anchorage, Alaska. NARF is looking for an experienced attorney with excellent research and writing skills to assume a docket working in natural resource law in the Anchorage office.

Qualifications: Law degree from accredited law school. Applicant must (1) be a member of the Alaska Bar Association via admission; or (2) be a member of the Alaska Bar Association via reciprocity; or (3) sit for the next Alaska Bar exam. A minimum of three years' experience in natural resource law and legal advocacy is required. Federal Indian law with environmental experience is strongly preferred, as is a proven ability to work with Indian tribes and Indian communities on natural resource issues.
