Some residents on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation can expect a big boost in their Internet connection speed because a Scobey company received nearly $26 million in federal stimulus funds to perform a fiber-optic upgrade. Nemont Brand Operations Manager Richard Hood said he was thrilled after the USDA informed company officials of the award a few days ago, partially because the company has great customers on the Fort Peck Reservation, he said.
