American Indian and Alaska Native tribal governments across the United States will be able to make public transportation improvements on or near reservations, thanks to a $15.1 million investment of federal funds announced today by the Federal Transit Administration. “DOT is absolutely committed to improving tribal transportation resources,” said U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood.
