The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe has given 2 percent of its annual income, more than $100 million since the opening of Soaring Eagle Casino in 1994, to the Isabella County area. According to Frank Cloutier, public relations manager for the tribe, the funds are provided with the intent to alleviate the footprint of the tribes growth and expansion.
