Ice sculptures, cirque-style acrobatics, frosty cocktails and more chilly delights set the stage for a fun winter celebration at a resort in upstate New York.

Turning Stone Resort Casino is celebrating the coldest time of the year with SnöFest, a multi-day, resort-wide celebration of winter.

Festivities kick off January 26 with several events. The winter wonderland comes to life with a full-service Ice Bar with massive, majestic and detailed ice sculptures. The resort’s Crescent Courtyard, popular in summertime, will be transformed for SnöFest with an 18-foot-long, full-service Ice Bar, complete with ice stools and frosty cocktails.

The Ice Sculpture Courtyard with feature a life-size pool table, a motorcycle, seating and photo booth elements — all made of ice. The Ice Bar will offer Belvedere sampling to keep guests feeling toasty all night.

The executive chef at Turning Stone Wei-Sen Liang also happens to be a master ice sculptor. On Friday and Saturday, January 27 and 28, he’ll showcase some fundamental ice carving techniques for his glistening masterpieces. The award-winning ice sculptor travels the globe to compete in World Ice Championships.

Entertainment spills over into other Turning Stone venues, such as Exit 33’s SnöGlö party at Tin Rooster, The Gig, Turquoise Tiger and LAVA Nightclub. LAVA’s SnöGlö party kicks off SnöFest on Thursday, January 26 and continues on Friday and Saturday nights. One of LAVA’s legendary glow parties, the event will feature performances and music by DJs B. Mills, Chris Reiners and DJ Dread.
