Huitoto Tribe in Colombia Teaches its Native Language

The Huitoto Tribe, from the thick forest of the Amazon rainforest in Colombia, are working to teach its children the Huitoto language. Toby Muse of Al Jazeera attended a class in Bogota, far from the tribe’s territory, as a handful of tribal members have moved into the city.

The video discusses a growing confidence by Indigenous People possibly being the reason many are interested in learning the traditional language.
