A sculpture installed in front of Wasilla High School in Wasilla, Alaska has raised eyebrows and hackles because some who've seen it feel it resembles a vagina. Called "Warrior Within," the sculpture is described by its creators, Jim Dault and Shala Dobson, as "two warrior shields encircled by glowing feathers."
But high school students are experts at spotting unintended smut, and when the kids start snickering their parents are bound to demand somebody do something.
For that reason, the sculpture has spent much of February beneath a tarp.
(And no, former Wasilla mayor Sarah Palin has not commented publicly on the situation.)
