Relief from the Heat in Arizona
If pool parties are your thing, you’ll be right at home at Talking Stick Resort Casino’s Main Pool—one of three pool escapes at the luxury resort owned by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community in Scottsdale, Arizona. Every Saturday and Sunday all summer long, the Main Pool plays host to RELEASE pool parties. Think top DJs like Kaskade (August 19) and Tiesto (September 3) dropping rave-worthy beats while Arizona’s hottest locals and tourists dance in the water, poolside and in lush private cabanas with VIP bottle service. Consider the “concert weekend staycations” and other packaged deals.
By night, the concert stage at the Main Pool occasionally plays host to some incredible shows. Check out the entertainment schedule for upcoming events and details. Stay the weekend in one of 496 deluxe rooms with spacious bathrooms and rain showers, and don’t miss the opportunity to dine at Orange Sky, the award-winning restaurant on the resort’s 15th floor with panoramic views of the McDowell Mountains to the northeast and Camelback Mountain to the southwest.
Talking Stick’s two other pools, the Lounge Pool and the West Pool, are likewise surrounded by beautiful Sonoran desert landscape and offer a chance to relax and unwind. The Lounge Pool offers shallow waters to lounge half-in and half-out while soaking up the sun in one of 16 lounge chairs immersed in the water. Read a book, enjoy a cocktail or relax with friends. Meanwhile, the West Pool offers a family-friendly escape that's a smaller and more intimate alternative to the Main Pool.
The Desert’s South Pacific Sanctuary
Complete with a lazy river, sandy beach and two heated spa tubs on different levels, The Oasis Pool at Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa is among the best hotel pools in California. A desert sanctuary in Cabazon, California, visitors can swim, sunbathe or sip their cares away. The seasonal menu at Sunset Bar & Grill offers delicious bites and cocktails to enjoy poolside.

The resort in Mashantucket, Connecticut hosts Foxwoods Liquid Sundays, its Vegas-style pool parties now through September 3. Popular DJs spin and celebrities like Amber Rose (July 23) are known to make both scheduled and spontaneous appearances.
Foxwoods’ other pools, like its Grand Pequot Pool and the stunning Great Cedar Pool are indoor near the spa and fitness center, framed by ornate tiles that seemingly transport you to a decadent a gilded world.
