Last week, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced that Tokyo, Japan, will host the 2020 Summer Olympic Games.

It's a choice that has met with the approval of Billy Mills, Oglala Lakota, who won the gold medal in the 10,000 meters in Tokyo in 1964. (He remains the only American ever to win the gold in that event.) In this video, recorded by On Native Ground and posted shortly before the IOC made its selection, Mills makes his recommendation to bring the games back to the city where he achieved an athletic glory that Natives still take pride in today.
