HICKORY STICK: Seneca golf course hiring questioned

A local labor leader who serves on the board at the Niagara County Industrial Development Agency has some questions about the use of Native American laborers in the construction of the Hickory Stick Golf Course in Lewiston. Local Laborer’s 91 Business Manager and NCIDA Board member Robert Connolly said he intends to ask the agency’s legal counsel for an explanation on the Seneca Nation’s Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance, or TERO, and how it relates to the golf course project.
