Hastings builds health care image in state

With a new owner, equipment and collaborations, W.W. Hastings Indian Hospital is crafting its health-care image in northeastern Oklahoma. “We are a big player and big employer to this part of the state and we will only get better,” said Chuck Grim, hospital CEO. About a year ago the Cherokee Nation Tribal Council assumed operations of the W.W. Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah.
For decades, the federal Indian Health Service operated the hospital.
