A report expected next month could determine whether Michigan’s wine industry gets a major new player: the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. The tribe is due to receive a report in September on a $104,000 feasibility study it undertook to evaluate whether to go forward with a vineyard and winery project on a parcel it owns on the east side of Traverse City.
