The community at Sacaton will receive $6 million from the U.S. Department of Justice to build a 104-bed prison for adult offenders, Rep. J.D. Hayworth, R-Ariz., announced Oct. 17. The prison will be a one-level, detached addition to an existing correctional facility. It will provide single-cell housing for male and female inmates, classrooms, counseling offices and open dorm housing.
