The eighth annual Genealogy for You Seminar will be held March 10 at the Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The focus of this seminar will be finding information to document your family's Native American heritage.

Gene Norris of the Cherokee Heritage Center in Tahlequah, Oklahoma will present four classes about researching Native American genealogy. Topics to be covered include Cherokee Genealogy: A Beginners Guide; The Dawes Final Roll and Public Misconceptions; My Great-Great-Grandma Was a Cherokee Princess and Other Misconceptions; and Cherokee Old Settlers in Arkansas.

Seating is limited to 85, make a reservation by calling the library at 501-778-4766. The Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library is located at 1800 Smithers, in Benton, Arkansas.
