The debate over Granite Construction’s proposed Liberty Quarry in Riverside County will continue July 18 at 9 a.m. at Rancho Community Church, 31300 Rancho Community Way, reported The Californian.

But the public won’t get a chance to speak this time, unlike the 15-hour session held June 22.

“Commission Chairman John Roth has said much of the fourth meeting will be devoted to rebuttal testimony from Granite Construction and the consultants who put together the county's environmental report on the project,” states the story.

The project is opposed by the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians because there are sites sacred to them in the proposed quarry area.
