The leader of the Fort Sill Apaches of Oklahoma says the tribe will continue to offer gambling on its land in southern New Mexico despite a federal violation notice. The notice from the National Indian Gaming Commission says the tribe must end gaming operations at the casino near Deming. But tribal chairman Jeff Houser promise to fight the order in court. He says the tribe is within its rights to offer gaming on the tribal land.
