FireKeepers Casino Hotel will eliminate its Dacey’s Sports Bar in favor of a multi-million dollar investment in a new brewpub and restaurant: Dacey’s Taphouse.
The 140-seat contemporary restaurant/bar will include a 50 seat mezzanine overlooking the casino floor. The design will be an open concept to the casino floor with a warm, rustic vibe. The feature of the new taphouse will be a large two story craft brew barrel emphasizing the impressive display of up to 50 beers on tap. Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of favorite Michigan and premier national craft beers along with a new food menu created by our awarding winning culinary team.
FireKeepers hopes the 21-and-up venue, equipped with 50 TV screens playing sports, will attract the greater community, beyond just casino-goers.
"Dacey’s Taphouse will be a powerful new addition to our already exciting food and beverage offerings," said FireKeepers Casino Hotels President and CEO Brian Decorah. "The design is perfect for dining, enjoying drinks with friends and celebrating special events, as we continually seek to deliver the finest gaming and entertainment experience in the region."
Construction on the new Dacey’s is set to begin in early August with a goal of being open to the public sometime mid-December.
