Festivities kick off new Hard Rock venues

With an explosion of streamers and rock 'n' roll, the Cherokee Casino and Resort officially became the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa on Monday. Hundreds attended the grand opening. Casino guests lined the stairs overlooking the ceremony area as politicians and media personalities crowded the VIP area. "Welcome to Hard Rock. I've been working two years and our management team has been working for two years to say that, and it sounds just as cool as I thought it would," David Stewart, CEO of Cherokee Nation Entertainment, told the crowd.
