Federal Bar Association names Mike McBride General Counsel

TULSA, Okla. – The Federal Bar Association has selected D. Michael McBride III as General Counsel on the FBA’s National Board of Directors. McBride is a partner with the Tulsa office of Crowe & Dunlevy, P.C., and chairs the firm’s Indian Law & Gaming Practice Group.

At the recent national meeting of the Federal Bar Association in Huntsville, Ala. the FBA honored McBride with special awards for his leadership as Vice-President of the Tenth Circuit and as Chair of the Indian Law Section, the largest Indian law focused organization in the United States.

The Federal Bar Association is a national organization of more than 16,000 lawyer and judge members advancing the issues of federal lawyers and the judiciary.

On Sept. 10-12, the Federal Bar Association will hold its annual national meeting in Oklahoma City and will install Lawrence Baca, Pawnee, as the first Native American President of the organization.
