Photo by Cliff Matias -- NEW YORK - Happy Frejo of Hollywood, Calif., member of the Pawnee and Seminole nations, is a performing artist who toured New York City for Native American Heritage Month in mid-November. While there, she taught Native dance to urban youth from Public School 69 in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, and other schools to help them better understand who American Indian people are in today's world.
