Ending the War in Iraq

President Barack Obama on December 14 said the two words that many military families have been waiting to hear since the War in Iraq began – “Welcome home.”

Obama at a speech in front of troops returning from the Middle East in Fort Bragg, North Carolina said, “The war in Iraq will soon belong to history. Your service belongs to the ages. I could not be prouder of you. And America could not be prouder of you.”

In this video Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama share their feelings on this historic day.
