Well this is a must read.
Remember way back in November of 2010 when Dan Synder got so upset by a story written by Washington City Paper reporter Dave McKenna that he threatened to have the writer fired and the paper bankrupt? Well, revenge is a dish best served in print.
McKenna penned a piece entitled "Dan Synder: Unsportsman of the Year, 2011," that is a blow-by-blow account of the many egregious actions of the Redskins owner throughout the year.
Synder, who has refused to change the Redskins name and logo because he had been a fan of the team since he was a kid, and couldn't bear to change their name and logo, lest the child inside be offended. The thousands of American Indians who take offense to the team's name and logo are not a part of his calculus, clearly.
Instead of us piling on Snyder, however, we suggest you give the McKenna piece a read. Regardless of where you stand on the Synder/Redskins issue, this the kind of end-of-the-year article that makes one relish the season.
