TULSA, Okla. – D. Mike McBride III, an attorney at Crowe & Dunlevy, was recently presented the Award for Distinguished Service by the Federal Bar Association at the 34th Annual Indian Law Conference in Santa Fe, N.M.
The Award for Distinguished Service is given annually to an FBA member who has exhibited outstanding achievement, distinguished leadership and participation in the Indian Law Section activities throughout the nation. Lawrence Baca, president-elect of the FBA, presented McBride with the award.
The annual conference is the largest Indian law conference in the United States attracting more than 800 attendees including practitioners, scholars, federal, tribal and state officials, judges and law students.
McBride is immediate past chair of the Indian Law Section of the FBA and currently serves as general counsel to the FBA’s national board of directors. A director at Crowe & Dunlevy, McBride chairs the firm’s Indian Law and Gaming Practice Group.
