KINDER, La. – Coushatta Casino Resort, owned and operated by the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana, recently replaced more than 500 of its slot machines and now offers the latest and most popular machines to bring more fun and excitement to the casino. The casino now has more than 2,800 slot machines – 1,300 are penny denominations.

“With the new technology arriving in today’s gaming industry, we felt we needed to change out our older slots and bring in more of the newer machines. Coushatta Casino Resort now features the best selection of the newest interactive games in the region,” said Director of Slots Warren Davidson.

Along with the addition of the new slots throughout the casino floor, the Circus of Slots tent located in the back part of the casino was converted to a non-smoking area beginning July 1. The area includes 670 slots and a snack bar.

“Many of our guests have been asking for a smoke-free area to play slots and we are committed to providing the best guest service for our players,” said Director of Marketing Phil Ziegler. “We’ll be the only casino in the region to cater to both smokers and non-smokers.”
