As part of the American Indian College Fund’s Native American Heritage Month nod to respecting tradition, the fund offers readers a way to learn more about Native American Tribes.

Using a map that took Aaron Carapella 14 years to create, the College Fund picked 11 tribal nations to feature—the Suquamish, Nimi, Ndeh, Newe, Tsitsistas, Numunu, Ka’igwu, Chickasha, Kiwigapawa, Monacan, and Alnobak.
