During the Clinton City Board of Education meeting, Tuesday, members approved the allotment of $30,700 from an Indian Education grant to support the initiatives and activities of the Native American community within the district. “I’d like to say Sharon Williams has done a remarkable job making sure people are eligible for grant funds,” superintendent Dr. Gene Hales complimented Williams during the boards work session, adding that she has brought amounts in the thousands into the county.
