Climate change internationally

I was very impressed by the two articles you had on climate change and indigenous peoples here in the United States in Indian Country Today on Wednesday, Nov. 11.

However, I also wanted to mention that there is also a lot of information on the role of climate change in affecting indigenous peoples in the Andean and Amazon areas of several South American countries and also in New Mexico, Guatemala and some of the other Central American countries.

Based on this information, it is very important that the UN Climate Change Conference to be held at the Bella Center in Copenhagen, Denmark Dec. 7 – 18, should take into account the effects on indigenous peoples especially in all of the Americas.
