The Yavapai-Apache Nation owns and operates the Cliff Castle Casino-Hotel, which for the twelfth straight year was voted the best casino in Arizona in Ranking Arizona: The Best of Arizona Business, 2010, Arizona Business Magazine’s statewide, popular business opinion poll edition. The Nation is comprised of approximately 3,000 acres and is made up of the communities of Camp Verde, Middle Verde, Clarkdale, Rimrock and Tunlii.

Cliff Castle Casino-Hotel is a 114,000 square-foot multi-amenity facility, with live-action poker, blackjack, state of the art slot machines and video poker. They also strive to make their casino the most family friendly in the state. They've got "The Alley Arcade" for kids of all ages, with 30 high-action video games. For those who love bowling (find us someone who doesn't) there's "Shake Rattle & Bowl," a 20-lane bowling alley. They've also got a supervised childcare center, "Kids Quest," with over 5,000 square feet of games and activities for kids.

"This is a great honor and we are very appreciative of what this award means to us. Our Guests have given us a vote of confidence, and we aim in every possible way to succeed in our role as Arizona’s #1 gaming destination," said Tony Averitt, Marketing Director.

The Yavapai-Apache Nation contribute to Northern Arizona communities in the form of sponsorships, Prop 202 Revenue distributions, charitable donations, and higher education scholarships.
