Chief praises city for restoring monument dedicated to ancestor

The city of Newark was praised during a Tuesday ceremony for restoring a monument containing ancient American Indian remains. "It is not too often we can call white men friends," said Noah "Ironhand" Armstrong, chief of the Peoples Nation. "Far too often, our ancestors have been dug up and sold on the black market. It does my heart good to see what the city of Newark has done."
