Chickasaw Nation Head Start Students Graduate

To celebrate their graduation Sulphur Chickasaw Nation Head Start students sang songs for family and friends. Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby and Lt. Governor Jefferson Keel presented diplomas to the graduates.

“We join all the families who take great pride in the Head Start students who are celebrating this milestone,” Anoatubby said in a press release. “Head Start provides a great foundation for educational success which can help pave the way to many more significant accomplishments.”

The Chickasaw Nation Early Childhood Development (Head Start) program serves children 3 to 5 years old from income-eligible families. There are four Head Start locations in Oklahoma: Sulphur, Ada, Ardmore and Tishomingo. The enrollment deadline is June 1. Apply online or call 580-421-7711.
