Branden Blakely, 19, and Lakota Clinton, 18, were recently inducted into the National Technical Honor Society at the Indian Capital Technology Center (ICTC).

While at ICTC, Blakely studied auto collision repair and Clinton studied welding. Both completed their respective programs and graduated with honors.

“These students have demonstrated honesty, dependability, leadership and academic excellence,” Vicki Craig, who is with ICTC, said in the Cherokee Nation press release.

The two students are seniors at Sequoyah Schools and are both citizens of the Cherokee Nation. They graduated from Sequoyah on May 20.
