Cherokee Heritage Center Educates Visitors

The Cherokee Heritage Center, operated by the the Cherokee Nation, welcomes school groups and teaches kids what life was like over a hundred years ago in Indian territory.

The Cherokee Heritage Center in Park Hill, Oklahoma regularly welcomes field trip groups to teach school kids what it took to live in Indian territory.

Visitors learn how to use a loom, how to cook, weave baskets, and how to play some of the sports and games that kept kids occupied 120 years ago.
